Bluegrass Christian Academy is seeking individuals with a passion for teaching children. Our teachers, inspired and governed by love for Jesus Christ and the world he created, breathe life into the curriculum and contribute to an academic culture of joyful excellence.
Our teachers, administrators, and staff bring many special interests, talents, and experiences to their work. They are dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping students pursue Christian faithfulness and meaningful learning.
Ideal candidates are those who demonstrate the joy of life-long learning. They are men and women of Christian faithfulness and integrity who possess a passion for children and their families. Teachers do not merely deliver knowledge—they instruct through their lives and character as well. BCA expects teachers to uphold the statement of faith and model Christian behavior.
A state-issued teaching certificate is not required. We provide training that aligns with our mission and vision in order to prepare teachers for their specific role at our school. A teachable spirit is required. We are also trained by classical educators from the Classical Latin School Association (our accrediting body), Memoria Press, Highlands Latin School teachers and administrators, and through ClassicalU.
